1 – BLISS HELPS YOU TO PURIFY YOUR MOTIVES
Bliss is the most complete and profound state of joy that we can experience. It is felt from our sense of higher well-being and is like experiencing all our emotions in an intense moment that lasts for as long as we open up ourselves to it. When we make decisions in a blissful state of mind, they are always authentic, balanced, and self-building. Such enlightened decision making is entirely free and distinctly different from ego decision drivers like fear, greed, anger, pain, control, lust, expectation and selfishness.
2 – BLISS HELPS YOU TO FOR FIND MORE BLISS
“Bliss is never boring; it feels ever new, expansive, and infinite.” Once you know the feeling, you can use the memory of bliss like a homing beacon to seek bliss in all situations and experiences - positive and negative. Simply put, the bliss you feel in your life not only attracts more bliss, but equally draws you to more blissful situations and outcomes!
3 – BLISS HELPS YOU TO UNCOVER YOUR PURPOSE
The fulfilling of our purpose gives us our ultimate sense of bliss and is the reason we get out of bed in the mornings, try hard in our careers or look for those special relationships. Unfortunately, if your sense of authentic purpose has been replaced by the logical and egoistic ideals of societal conditioning, then you literally hunt for bliss in the wrong places and ultimately feel disconnected from those jobs and relationships that, ‘make sense on paper.’ But even if you are in such situations, the good news is, bliss always finds a way into your life through things like your hobbies, entrepreneurial ideas, exercise and listening to your favorite songs.
4 – BLISS IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH
If laughter is the best medicine, then bliss is the ultimate stress vaccination – literally! Whenever we focus on a blissful thought, the brain produces a chemical compound called Dimethyltriptamin or DMT, which gives us a psychedelic or ‘natural high.’ Aside from the feelings of euphoria, DMT is an important brain chemical that allows us to dream and helps us to determine what is real to our ‘five senses.’ Maintaining the appropriate mental balance for each situation allows to properly adjust our moods and expectations so that we always act accordingly and in our truth.
5 – BLISS IS YOUR SPIRITUALITY
DMT is categorized as an entheogen, which means, ‘generating the divine within,’ and is produced by the brain in large amounts when we engage in what some consider ‘spiritual activities,’ such as choir singing, yoga, meditation, chanting and ritual dances. The bliss that we feel as a result of these types activities is the ultimate state of consciousness that every religion holds as its highest goal and achievement, though each uses different terminology to explain it.
6 – BLISS HELPS YOU TO LIVE IN THE MOMENT
Imagine being timelessly transfixed by the gaze of a significant other over dinner, as they hold your hand and tell you, ‘I love you,’ for the first time – that’s a potential moment of bliss. Or you could focus on what took them so long to say it, do they really mean it or who else are they saying this to – and completely ruin the bliss of the moment because of your fragile ego. Living in the moment means not being afraid to give in to the bliss of that moment. When we complain about how we never get anything good in our lives, it’s because we constantly give in to the limited expectations of our ego and cheat ourselves out of the blessings and blissfulness of the bigger situation that is standing right before us.
7 – BLISS HELPS YOU TO BE YOU
Bliss – and not the conditional expectations of the ego - is where our happiness, meaning, and truth converge. Everything boils down to our pursuit of bliss, and when we are properly blissed, we are at our best. It is not money, sex, relationships, career, pastimes, religion or scientific answers that make us happy. It is the state of bliss than can be achieved through our pursuits that truly gives us our blissful ecstasy. Once we figure out those pursuits, we’ve really figured out our lifestyle and then we can start to live authentically – in our own unconditional and timeless moment of bliss.
