Be Honest - Have You Ever Said This To Your Partner?

When you or your spouse says, “I want to focus on me,” or uses the phrase, “I’m a Do Me,” what does that say to the receiver?

In a marriage that type of language - I’m sorry to tell you – simply has no place! Now of course I’m not saying you can’t have your own individuality or continue to work on yourself; that would be absurd of me to promote that. However, when two people have decided to take that leap of faith and visibly stand before that beautiful alter they paid so much money to rent for that day, they better consciously be aware that this is the day they commit to grow with each other.

So, now you tell me where does, “Imma Do Me,” come into play?
