With the fall of the economy in 2008 that left many of us jobless, the economy did not discriminate on who was jobless. In 2015, executives and career professionals are still competing against individuals with half their experience that will take less money for a job. WORKSTAR CAREER CONSULTING PROGRAM
This program is centered around an exciting & innovative career assessment tool, that uses bio-R-psychometrics (analysis of inherent emotional and behavioral patterns) to understand and outline the best use of one’s potential. WORKSTAR identifies the essential personality, needs and chief motivations of an individual as well as uncovering further possibilities and potentials and matches that to careers that will suit their natural skill set and abilities. With this assessment tool we have coached numerous people on how create an Individual Employment Plan with a career path that matches their true core competencies.
JOB READINESS & TRAINING PROGRAM
With the new job market, one must be prepared and ready to compete for the job. We introduce to jobseekers what employers are looking for in an employee to give them that competitive edge. We teach classes on how to properly job search, resume writing, interview techniques, personal presentation, business communication, and resources on how to obtain career technical certificates for in demand jobs. What we are trying to do is bring everyone up to a certain level of skills that will greatly improve their chances of and motivation for getting a job.
EMPLOYMENT RETENTION PROGRAM
Keeping a job now is very hard and sometimes there’s no telling when your last day may be. We all know it’s not about seniority anymore to sustain your position; it’s do you have the skill set? Our coaches teach on the job etiquette, career advancement skills and practices, HR law and advisories, and emotional/social intelligence training on how to stay on the cutting edge of understanding your job and proving that you’re worth keeping in your position at any expense!
